For over 30 years, Wai Ora's mission has been providing opportunities for whānau to reach their potential through social services, training and employment preparation, all in a supportive Christian
kaupapa Māori environment.
By embracing positive family values and respecting the dignity of every person, we recognise that every individual has something positive to contribute to their community.
Wai Ora’s social work unit has a focus on ‘medium to high risk’ youth aged 13-18 years through the provision of targeted and effective intervention services for themselves and their family.
We work in schools, Youth court and community.
We offer seminars for professional development
'Understanding and Managing Complex and Challenging behaviours'
and run courses for individuals managing their own challenges.
